Overview

Started in February 2013, Sewa Boston works to implement Sewa International’s mission of

  • Promoting volunteerism
  • Aiding local communities
  • Serving humanity in distress

With programs that are executed on a monthly, half yearly and yearly basis,  Sewa Boston volunteers have immersed themselves in selfless effort for the welfare of all .

Every year numerous  enthusiastic  volunteers use the Sewa platform to fulfill their desire to give back to the community. Corporate organizations like CVS/Caremark encourage  its employees to get involved in Sewa programs. Sewa Boston has a wide range of project and activities covering Health & Wellness, Education, Yoga for Sewa, Cricket for Cause, Feeding the Hungry, Community Development, Refugee Empowerment and Diwali Food Drive.

    Join us on May 19th, 2024, at the Milford Trial  in Milford for a 5k run/walk to support Sewa International's SHE program. This fundraiser empowers girl children in rural India who are in need of sanitation support, hygiene kits, and skill development . 

    All fitness levels are welcome to participate in this inclusive event.

Feeding The Hungry

Feeding the Hungry’ is the flagship program of Sewa International Boston Chapter. The key objective of this program is ‘To care and make a difference’ and Increase our reach and volunteers.’



Family Services

Family services are designed to provide families tools for leading more meaningful fulfilling lives.


Volunteer Development

It is viewed as a unique chance for volunteers and organizations to celebrate their efforts.



Boston chapter runs a multifaceted youth program at the intersection of aspiration and action and aims to instill the love of volunteering from an early age.  






The program provides education for children in grades 4th to 10th from underprivileged families in India and Nepal.

Beneficiaries are orphans, semi-orphans, and from low-income families with parents who are maidservants, day laborers, janitors, taxi drivers, and roadside vendors
