Get Inspired Houston (GIH) GIH is an internship program offered by Sewa International Houston chapter which allows young adults to explore and innovate new ideas geared towards the welfare of refugee communities. Over the past six years GIH has provided a platform wherein young minds identify, create and implement projects which lead to social change in our community, all while working alongside a grassroots, non-profit organization.

Training and Support: Sewa will help the entire internship program by providing the interns access to an Intern Coordinator, who can provide assistance on day-to-day concerns along with providing Mentors who will serve as experienced personnel and advise interns on their projects. Interns will also have interaction with Sewa Houston's President at monthly meetings and special events.

Commitment: Interns will be expected to commit full-time during the summer (typically four days for between 30 to 40 hours per week). This will usually involve being in the office for a couple of days and being out in the community a couple of days.
